LEAP Housing Trust and WRLT will host a Community Open House to learn more about the workforce housing development proposed as part of an upcoming annexation application to the City of Hailey.
Sawmill Cottages will bring 32 deed-restricted homes with a preference for local workforce households. The project is part of the proposal that was previously discussed at Hailey City Council with a Letter of Intent to Annex, where 5 acres of disturbed land at the old sawmill site will be redeveloped by LEAP into workforce housing, while 10 acres of the site along the river will be permanently conserved by WRLT and incorporated into the Hailey Greenway.
