Join us for the 8th annual Big Wood River Clean up on October, 4th in Hailey, Idaho. Family and friends will be going to our three of our preserves in Ketchum, Hailey and Bellevue to clean up trash from the Big Wood River and its surrounding area.

Join the Wood River Land Trust on Saturday, October 4th, from 9am-12pm as we clean up the Big Wood River! Bring your friends and family and enjoy a morning with your Wood River Valley community, giving back and cleaning up the river. There will be three Check-In Hubs to pick up supplies, located at Howard Preserve in Bellevue, Draper Wood River Preserve in Hailey (Lion's Park Entrance), and Warm Springs Preserve in Ketchum.


Volunteers will receive a FREE cookie coupon from Wylde Beet and a FREE drink ticket from Sawtooth Brewery. We invite everyone to Sawtooth Brewery in Hailey for the Big Wood River Clean Up After Party for a well-earned drink and the announcement of our raffle winners!

The Raffle is online; you do not need to participate in the BWRC or be present at the announcement to be eligible to win.

Local students are combining creativity and conservation in the 2025 Big Wood River Clean-Up T-Shirt Design Contest, presented in partnership with Cox Communications.


Third and fourth graders from local elementary schools responded to the prompt: “What does a clean river mean to you?” One winner from each school was selected, and the overall winning artwork—from a student at Alturas Elementary—will be featured on this year’s official Clean-Up
