Ryan Santo

River Program Director

Originally from New Jersey, Ryan has spent the last 14 years monitoring endangered salmon and steelhead populations in the Snake and Upper Columbia River basins. Ryan graduated with a bachelor degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture from the State University of New York- Cobleskill. Ryan has worked throughout the Northwest with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, California Department of Fish and Game, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and most recently with the Nez Perce Tribe. With the Land Trust, Ryan will be focusing on implementing water conservation and habitat rehabilitation projects.

For fun he likes to spend time camping with his family, fly fishing, mountain biking, and anything involving time spent in the mountains of Idaho.
