Land Protected > Conservation Easement Lands > Sellgren Trail
Why It Is A Conservation Priority
The Sellgren Trail section adds to recreational opportunities available for all levels of activities and age—from intermediate bicyclists to hikers. Close to Ketchum and Sun Valley, the White Clouds Trail system is accessible and convenient for locals and visitors alike. Chris Leman of Bigwood Backcountry Trails notes, “The inclusion of permanent easements for public access to the White Cloud Trails is a hugely important aspect of this project.” On this trail viewers will find themselves surrounded by sagebrush steppe, native grasses, douglas fir, and all the beauty of the landscape that is central Idaho.

Restoration & Improvement Goals:
The Land Trust will regularly monitor the trail and Sun Valley Company will maintain it.
