Why it is a Conservation Priority
In 1996, Lake Creek Preserve became the first piece of property protected by the Wood River Land Trust. Further donations of land increased this preserve to 17 acres in 2002. The area is adjacent to BLM land and is important wildlife habitat supporting fish, beaver, moose and a variety of bird species.

What To Do And See:
Visitors can enjoy a vivid display of over 44 varieties of spring wildflowers on this hillside and wetland preserve.

Visiting Lake Creek Preserve:
Parking for Lake Creek Preserve is available at the Lake Creek Trailhead on the west side of Hwy 75 three miles north of downtown Ketchum.  Access the Preserve from Lake Creek Rd on the east side of Hwy 75.
