Why It Is A Conservation Priority:
Cloverly Ranch is 27 acres of forested riparian habitat located north of Hailey visible from highway 75. This habitat supports wolverines and provides vital wintering habitat for the bald eagle, elk, mule deer, and moose. In addition, this portion of the year is consider a trout fishery and is protected by the easement. The river provides wildlife habitat; when managed it provides floodplain control and better water quality.  A portion of the land is used as pasture for horses and is protected as such under the easement. There is a public access trail along the Big Wood River on this property providing forest and rural views.
